Some say that no one is listening. Some say that poetry is dead. I’d like to think they’re all wrong. I would like to think that just because we are all traveling at the speed of light doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy the quality of words. In an age where language is reduced to acronyms and feelings are conveyed in 144 characters or less, can poetry still find a place?  I would like to think it can. Perhaps this is my way of slowing this speeding train down, word by word. And perhaps you can connect with some of these thoughts.
